Caught in the Monsoon!

The day started out great...nice and sunny as usual. Joe took a picture here of my three month belly. We headed out to Lake Pleasant to enjoy the evening on Alma & Carlos' boat. Everything was going well...we took a little dip in the refreshing water, Joe & Carlos fished and all was great. Then the clouds started to roll in...then the rain started and came crashing down on us! It rained, and rained, and rained. We were stuck in the middle of the lake. When it stopped, we make a break for the shore. Trying to get the boat out of the water in the dark was crazy! The waves were crashing, water was pouring into the boat and lighting was streaking through the sky! It felt like we were on the show "Deadliest Catch!" Although, the storm did provide some nice pictures and we even saw a beautiful rainbow.
